Huashan’s Prosperous Deer Ascending Aroma Cup presents the deer without the conventional pine trees, rocks, or landscape elements often found in traditional compositions. Instead, generous negative space allows each deer to become the sole focus, creating a quiet and refined visual atmosphere.
Across the series, the deer are captured in different natural moments—looking back, grazing, glancing aside, and gazing into the distance. Rather than treating the deer as a fixed decorative symbol, Huashan captures subtle gestures and expressions that bring each animal to life.

Rather than surrounding the deer with traditional pine trees and rocky landscapes, Huashan leaves the background almost entirely open.
