Double Blessings Gongdao Pitcher
Inspired by traditional Chinese symbols of good fortune, this Gongdao Pitcher brings together three bats, gourds, and continuous scrolling vines in a layered composition of blessings.
Three bats are subtly hidden among the foliage. In Chinese, fu (蝠), meaning “bat,” sounds like fu (福), meaning “blessing” or “good fortune.” Their discreet presence expresses wishes for well-being, harmony, and prosperity.
At the center, the gourd is associated with fulu (福禄)—fortune and prosperity. Another auspicious motif appears within it, creating the central idea of “Fu Zhong Fu” (福中福): a blessing within a blessing.
Refined cobalt painting is complemented by delicate gilded details. As a Gongdao Pitcher, the vessel gathers brewed tea before distributing it evenly among individual cups—giving the design another poetic meaning: gathering blessings and sharing them with others.

Care Instructions
Choosing Huashan Zhuoyin means choosing handcrafted Jingdezhen porcelain created to bring artistry into everyday life. To help preserve the glaze, hand-painted decoration, and gilded details, gently clean each piece with a soft sponge or cloth, warm water, and mild dishwashing liquid. Avoid abrasive sponges, steel wool, hard brushes, or other abrasive cleaning products.
We recommend cleaning your tea ware promptly after use and keeping it dry to prevent tea stains from building up. For accumulated tea stains, gently clean the affected area with a small amount of toothpaste or baking soda using a soft cloth, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. When storing cups, gaiwans, and other porcelain pieces, a soft mat or protective layer can be placed between them to help reduce scratching, chipping, and accidental damage.
For pieces featuring gilding, famille rose enamels, or other special decorative finishes, hand washing is recommended. Avoid microwaves, ovens, and high-temperature sterilizing equipment. Care requirements may vary depending on the craftsmanship and decorative technique of each piece, so please refer to the specific care information provided on the individual product page.
Please note: Avoid sudden temperature changes and contact with hard or abrasive objects to help preserve the porcelain glaze, hand-painted decoration, and gilded details.

Tea gathered in one vessel, blessings shared around the table.
The Gongdao Pitcher plays a distinctive role in Chinese tea preparation. Brewed tea is first gathered within it, allowing the infusion to become even before being poured into individual cups.
From this simple act of sharing comes another interpretation of Fu Zhong Fu.
Three bats represent blessings. The gourd gathers fortune and prosperity, while the auspicious motif hidden within it expresses a blessing within a blessing. Continuous vines connect them all, suggesting good fortune that continues and grows.
As tea flows from the gaiwan into the pitcher and then into each guest’s cup, the symbolism follows the same journey.
What is gathered in one vessel is shared with everyone at the table.
Gather the tea, share the blessings.
