Double Blessings Mati Teacup
Inspired by traditional Chinese symbols of good fortune, this Mati teacup brings together three bats, gourds, and continuous scrolling vines in a layered composition of blessings.
Three bats are subtly hidden among the foliage. In Chinese, fu (蝠), meaning “bat,” sounds like fu (福), meaning “blessing” or “good fortune.” Their quiet presence expresses wishes for well-being, harmony, and prosperity.
At the center, the gourd is associated with fulu (福禄)—fortune and prosperity. Another auspicious motif appears within the gourd, creating the central idea of “Fu Zhong Fu” (福中福): a blessing within a blessing.
Delicate gilded details complement the cobalt decoration, while the rounded Mati form narrows gently toward the base, creating a balanced silhouette that rests comfortably in the hand.

Care Instructions
Choosing Huashan Zhuoyin means choosing handcrafted Jingdezhen porcelain created to bring artistry into everyday life. To help preserve the glaze, hand-painted decoration, and gilded details, gently clean each piece with a soft sponge or cloth, warm water, and mild dishwashing liquid. Avoid abrasive sponges, steel wool, hard brushes, or other abrasive cleaning products.
We recommend cleaning your tea ware promptly after use and keeping it dry to prevent tea stains from building up. For accumulated tea stains, gently clean the affected area with a small amount of toothpaste or baking soda using a soft cloth, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. When storing cups, gaiwans, and other porcelain pieces, a soft mat or protective layer can be placed between them to help reduce scratching, chipping, and accidental damage.
For pieces featuring gilding, famille rose enamels, or other special decorative finishes, hand washing is recommended. Avoid microwaves, ovens, and high-temperature sterilizing equipment. Care requirements may vary depending on the craftsmanship and decorative technique of each piece, so please refer to the specific care information provided on the individual product page.
Please note: Avoid sudden temperature changes and contact with hard or abrasive objects to help preserve the porcelain glaze, hand-painted decoration, and gilded details.

Technical Documents
Blessings hidden in the pattern, good fortune held in the hand.
The first layer of Fu Zhong Fu begins with three bats quietly appearing among the foliage. Their name in Chinese echoes the word for blessing, turning them into symbols of well-being, harmony, and prosperity.
The second layer is found within the gourd. Traditionally associated with fortune and prosperity, it contains another auspicious motif within itself—a blessing within a blessing.
Continuous vines weave through the composition, connecting each symbol and expressing the idea of good fortune that continues to grow through time.
Huashan brings these meanings together on the softly rounded Mati form. Held within the hand and filled with warm tea, the cup transforms traditional symbolism into part of an everyday ritual.
Tea within the cup, blessings within the pattern, good fortune held close.
