Description
Embodying strength, movement, and spiritual depth, the Ink Dragon Fairness Pitcher captures a legendary mythical dragon emerging from tempestuous ocean waves and swirling clouds. Rendered through rich, ink-washed cobalt blue, the artwork is heightened by our brand’s proprietary Underglaze White (釉里白) technique, which renders the surging wave crests and dragon motifs in a raised, tactile, and translucent white enamel. The dynamic composition combined with a refined eagle-beak spout ensures a crisp, non-drip pour, making it an indispensable masterpiece for serious tea ceremonies.

Inspired by the spirit of Song- and Yuan-dynasty ink-wash dragon paintings, this piece captures the majestic vision of an ink dragon emerging from the sea.
The artisan uses cobalt-blue pigment in carefully balanced shades to render surging waves and billowing auspicious clouds, as though flowing ink had been suspended upon the porcelain. Huashan Zhuoyin’s signature Underglaze White technique is then applied, accenting the splashing waves and intricate dragon lines with a specially formulated white glaze.
Transformed by intense kiln fire, the wave crests emerge subtly raised, lustrous, and smooth like fine jade. The interplay of blue and white creates striking visual tension and a powerful sense of movement, capturing the boundless spirit of a dragon traversing the world and the sea embracing all rivers within a single vessel of tea.
