Description
Inspired by the poetic guqin melody “Wild Geese Descending on the Sandbank” (Pingsha Luoyan), the Wild Geese Pao Zun Teapot captures wild geese resting peacefully amidst swaying autumn reeds. Shaped in the classic Pao Zun (gourd-vessel) silhouette with a rounded lower body and an ergonomic curved handle, this teapot is hand-painted in Jingdezhen using rich underglaze cobalt blue. The intricate brushwork depicts geese in expressive poses with fine ink-wash depth. Designed for superior heat retention and smooth water flow, it brings quiet sophistication and poetic calmness to every tea ritual.

This piece brings the serene autumn imagery of the classical guqin melody Wild Geese Descending on the Sandbank into the timeless form of the Paozun teapot, inspired by the ancient Chinese gourd-shaped vessel.
A master artisan of Huashan Zhuoyin in Jingdezhen combines meticulous brushwork with expressive blue-and-white painting to portray wild geese resting, raising their heads, and foraging across the full, rounded body of the teapot. Traditional fenshui shading renders the softness of their feathers and the supple strength of the reeds with remarkable delicacy.
As the water boils and the fragrance of tea unfolds, the substantial handle rests securely in the hand while the tea pours in a smooth, steady stream. Across the vessel, the blue-and-white landscape flows with the spirit of ink painting, embodying the leisurely grace and noble character of the Eastern scholar.
